Item #3172892 I learned from the my introduction to the blogosphere…. I had no idea “Squirrel!” was the go-to phrase for ADHD. I have found so many great blogs thanks to their authors getting distr….. POSSUM!!!! Nope, that just doesn’t sound right!
Have you seen the Pixar movie “Up?” There is a talking dog in it, and many times mid-conversation, he stops and shouts “Squirrel!” upon seeing one. Since I have a tendency to switch directions and comment on the wildlife outside our patio door often during conversations, the kids have taken to shouting “Squirrel!” at me when I do it. 🙂
I have not seen that movie, though I finally figured out that was the source of all the “Squirrel!” references. The Up dog’s squirrel meme is on my loooong list of potential future blog posts…
